Summary 1

1. Staging

When creating a website, whether it be for yourself or a client, you need to plan ahead. This can be refered to as staging, you need to set out a plan for the webpage from the home page to secondary pages. This gives you a clear direction in the creation process, but also can give your client an idea of what information will be where and how things are planned.

2. Get your checklist

Along with setting the stage for your website, it is ideal to keep a checklist. The checklist helps keep track of the client and their goals, makes the user target known, the overall budget of the project, the type of devices and outreach of the technology, and this checklist helps keep the future of the project on track for everyone. Keeping something structure like this makes a clear understanding from the beginning and end of the projects.

3. Uploading and maintaining

When creating websites, you need to know how the main server handles and updates their information. Knowing the proper way to upload and how the server/site will handle the information is important. Along with uploading, you need to know how it will be maintained - if you will need to if this is for a client. All this goes into planning the overall website.
