SUMMARY 2
Topic 1: Understanding the use for each portion of a site.
Content is the overall term for the setup of what is being presented to the user. XHTML is tags that help define what content is being shown. CSS helps define what that content will look like specifically to the viewer. This is the foundation for construction of these sites.
Topic 2: The importance of tags for valid XHTML.
There needs to be clear definitions of what is going to be shown on these sites. That is why using tags is very important because they help you define these elements. For example, using the tags body and head will define these areas of your page.
Topic 3: The importance of hierarchy.
The body is one of the most important elements that have div branching away creating the img and h3. This is an organizational chart from XHTML tags that help understand the concept. When arranged into Dreamweaver they are similar to Russian tea dolls that have these concepts within one another.
