Project Title
Targeted Social Media Campaign Designs for Carmona College of Business
Concept
I designed the social media pieces to align seamlessly with the Carmona College of Business’s established aesthetic, emphasizing a cohesive visual identity. To maximize engagement during the fall semester, we incorporated dynamic elements that reflected the university’s branding, such as its signature colors and fonts, while incorporating visuals and themes appealing to students and faculty. By prioritizing clarity, vibrancy, and relevance, the designs aimed to capture attention, enhance shareability, and encourage active participation on the social media platform.
Description
The project consisted of three key components: a ‘Faculty Friday’ social media post series featuring professional portraits and brief bios to highlight faculty achievements, a ‘Travel Abroad’ campaign promoting student international opportunities with vibrant and culturally inspired visuals, and a graphic design-themed social media carousel featuring creative tips for students, displayed through a cohesive multi-slide format. Each design was optimized for Instagram and Facebook, using a square 1080x1080 px format and adhering to the university’s brand guidelines with consistent use of its color palette, fonts, and logos.

The designs successfully aligned with the aesthetic of the college’s social media page, enhancing engagement during the fall semester of 2023. Faculty Friday, Travel Abroad, and the Graphic Design Carousel posts received positive feedback from both students and faculty, with noticeable increases in likes, shares, and interactions on the college’s social media platforms. This project effectively met its goal of increasing social media engagement while maintaining the university’s branding standards.
