Topic 1:Images- Images are one thing that can really make the difference between a good site and an average one. If your site has multiple pictures, it looks better to keep them on a standard, simple background to keep them looking planned and together. It is also recommended to keep the images within a separate folder within your site root folder. This helps make it easier for the computer to locate them.

Topic 2: Creating Images- There are a few key rules to keep in mind when creating images. The first is to save the image in the right format. Mainly because websites usually use jpegs, gifs, or pngs; so making sure the image is one of these is very important to get it to show up. Next would be to save it as the right size. It should be saved as the right height and width as it is on the website. Finally, having it saved with a high pixel rate will be important for it when it's on the website; because higher pixel rates make it look clean and crisp.

Topic 3: Contrast and Background Images- When working with text over images, playing with the contrast in the css page is crucial for readability. If the background image is dark and the text is dark, then the readability will be low. However, if the image has a lower contrast, darker text will be easier to read. If you want to have the image remain with a high, dark contrast, then a translucent text box can be added manually to the text which will help make the text readable, but not interfere with the image.
