The Cognition & Affect Lab intersects decision-making, self-regulation, emotions, and individual differences to understand the choices we make in different contexts. The lab is an undergraduate team with an open membership policy. We focus on inclusivity and flexibility to help students develop basic research skills and confidence.
Our projects have included:

- Longitudinal and individual difference predictors in college student attrition
- Fear of missing out and social media use
- Student attitudes, fears, and hopes about artificial intelligence
- Mental health and LGBTQ+ population in Michigan
- Correlates of common ingredients and affective disorders
