In each course I teach, I try to stay curious and open. Although this means that I make adjustments through out the semester and for the next time I offer the class, I want to do right by my students. To this end, I have created Open Education Resources (OER) for both statistics courses I teach. You can find them linked below.
PSYC 302: Computer Applications in Data Analysis OER
In these OER, I am focused on the learning goals of my courses. I also provide step-by-step workthroughs of problems that are accompanied by video demonstrations. These online resources, coupled with a willingness to meet with students on their schedules and how they prefer have been important factors in helping me to win the 2022 Excellence in Online Teaching Award through the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at SVSU.
