Snow Tubing

This is a great family activity! Imagine the thrill of riding down a snowy Michigan run and then effortlessly riding a lift back up – that’s snow tubing! Tubes are provided and a surface lift is available for you to ride up the hill. No experience or special equipment is needed. Just hop in a tube and enjoy the ride! Be Prepared!

They must be 36 inches or taller to ride our tubes and children must be supervised by a parent/guardian.

Ski Patrol

The Copper Summit Ski Patrol consists of dedicated employees providing ski/boarding safety. The responsibilities include hill safety, skier/rider safety education, emergency care and rescue. Their mission is to serve the skiing public without charge in the rescue and first aid treatment of injured skiers, offering this service in a courteous manner, affording the best public relations possible for the Copper Summit and our organization.

Terrain Park

Copper Summit has two terrain parks, one with smaller features on the beginner hill and a larger park in the Bone Yard. Numerous features are spread throughout the runs and are professionally groomed daily to provide every rider the best the Midwest has to offer in park progression. The diversity of Copper Summit's terrain supports the progression of your riding. Some terrain park features include a double C-box, 10' flat 20' down t-style rail and a beginner rainbow. It's open to snowboarders and skiers. There's always room to explore and there's always something going on!

Always make a plan of the direction and path you intend to ride. Making a plan before executing takes one more strain off your mind to free it up for concetration on the trick you plan on executing. Your path should be clear of other riders' lines and riders who are chillin' waiting for their turn. Look before you leap. Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area. Easy style it. Start small and work your way up - throughout the day and the season. Respect gets respect. From the lift line through the park, respect everyone on the mountain..

Ski School

At every Ski Area there are certain people who love to gather and share their knowledge of skiing and snowboarding. Here, these individuals belong to the Copper Summit Snowsports School. Our instructors are more than just qualified, they are a closely-knit team dedicated to you and your enjoyment. We believe that creating a fun environment in which to learn and grow is the key to having a great winter recreation experience. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced skier or rider, our instructors can tailor programs to fit your needs.
