Copper Summit Ski and Golf has been a staple of Michigan's winter recreation since 1949 and has been proudly owned by the Brockway family since 1957. the resort spans 43 acres and features six lifts, 10 diverse runs, and a variety of terrain features. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced skier, Copper Summit offers something for everyone with 30% beginner trails, 45% intermediate runs, 10% advanced, and 15% dedicated to the terrain park. The resort also boasts a 210-foot vertical drop and a snow tubing park, ensuring fun for all. The ski season runs from November through March, weather permitting, and is supported by an impressive snowmaking system with 50 snowmaking positions capable of producing up to 12 inches of machine-made snow in 24 hours at temperatures as low as 20°F.

Ride the Trails

Copper Summit offers 6 miles of scenic trails for biking, including the 1-mile Zipper Loop and the 5-mile Golf Course Loop. Day passes are available for just $5, while a season pass is priced at $40 for unlimited access. Bike rentals are available in small, medium, and large sizes, with rates of $30 for a 2-hour ride or $50 for a 6-hour adventure. Please note that trail conditions are subject to weather, as the trails may close if temperatures exceed 40°F or if it’s raining, in alignment with the ski area’s operations.

Copper Summit offers two exciting terrain parks for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The smaller park is located on the beginner hill, while the larger park, known as the Bone Yard, features thrilling obstacles like a Double C-box, a 10' flat rail, a 20' down T-style rail, and a beginner rainbow. Both parks are professionally groomed daily to ensure the best experience. For off-road enthusiasts, Copper Summit’s Off-Road Park spans over 200 acres and offers diverse terrain including hills, rocks, mud, and trails, providing a perfect playground for 4x4 drivers.
