Quadriptych

For this project, color interactions were explored by using different colored construction paper as a base and applying oil pastels to create dynamic compositions. Each piece measured 7" x 11" and followed specific color relationships. One drawing featured a cool-toned background with warm colors applied, another had a warm background with cool colors, a third combined a warm-toned paper with a warm object and a cool background, and the final piece used a cool background and object contrasted against a warm background.

3D Design

In this course, students were tasked with creating 3D objects using solids and lines. Each structure was required to be distinct from every angle, ensuring a drastically different appearance when viewed from various perspectives. Additionally, the designs needed to capture visual interest. Throughout the semester, the coursework emphasized key design elements such as tabletop interaction, edge interaction, scale, angle, and alignment to bring these concepts to life.
